Welp, it arrived today, and it’s, shall we say, beautiful.
I ordered up this exhaust from Benjie over at Benjie’s Cafe Racer – his original design had a black exhaust shroud, but I asked him to make one in white as I thought it would play well against the white on the tank (and on the white headlight bucket, which I have yet to find the right beauty ring for so it remains off the bike).

Awesome bike there,,,working on a cl 175, did you have any problems with the k n air pod filters(on carbs) clearing that middle frame post where battery area is? Stock Carbs, Keihns i believe?
Thanks! I’m running new Mikuni flat slides so YMMV, but it has taken a bit to get it jetted just right. Any links for pics of that 175 and its progress?
@Crud Mop,,,, I am figuring out how to post it so u can check it out,, right now im waiting on a cafe seat then its off to paint, reassemble, refit with some new parts and waa laaa got a small cafe bike, well i hope everything goes as planned,most likely not though,,you recommend any other parts stores besides benjie’s?

I use mrcycles.com a lot for sourcing NOS or new parts as their fiche ordering is great for finding anything – though it’s hit or miss with what they can actually get. Other than that, ebay all the way. IMHO whatever you assume the job will take, double it in time and money
