I was packing up my gear to put into storage today since the apartment won’t ready till Friday. I just figured moving as much as I can now to the area of the apartment will make everything easier in a couple of days. While going through my closet it is hard not to notice that it ONLY contains motorcycle gear. All my normal everyday clothes are in a dresser and folded up. The luxury of hangers and shelves goes to the moto gear. And in that closet I pulled out one piece of gear that made me grin from ear to ear.

This santa suit was purchased for a ride put together by Fuzzygalore.com and was the highlight of the 2011 riding season. We all donned our outfits and rode around Long Island spreading holiday cheer for the day. The smiles and looks everyone gave us was absolutely priceless and I cannot wait till next year. Who ever thought Long Island roads could actually be fun? You can see the post about the ride here

I also put a video together from it
Has anyone else done anything similar? Maybe for Halloween?
This post is part of a series pioneered by fuzzygalore.com, we are trying to post a picture every day for February! Can you do 29 in 29?! Here is a list of the participants, make sure you stop in and say hi!

Is it gear? Heck yea!
That was such a great time. Thanks for helping me relive the memories
It was a ton of fun thanks for organizing it!!!
That is such a great way to spread some cheer.
I am sure you guys turned more than one head that day, and were the cause of many smiles.
I have seen videos online of people doing this for Halloween – a cookie monster outfit was one of my favorites. Big googly eyes on a hood on top the helmet.
I agree with Fuzzy, definitely gear. Gear to spread cheer………
I have seen an elmo around halloween time once. You should do a santa run next year let’s see how many states we can get to do it!
I remember reading about that after it happened. What a great idea. I bet you laughed and smiled the entire time!
We absolutely did I was grinning from ear to ear the entire time!
